Does my insurance pay for home infusion therapy services?
We will ask you for your current health care coverage and work with your physician to order your home care services within your coverage limits. Nurse liaisons are available within the hospital to answer any questions regarding your home care or insurance coverage.

What is my role as a patient?
You or you caregiver will be taught to administer your infusion therapy medications. We will provide step-by-step instructions and work closely with you as you learn these new procedures.

It is important that you understand your "plan of treatment" which includes the medications and nursing interventions ordered specifically for you. You will need to follow your nurse's instructions carefully and report any progress toward or away from the goal of your treatment.

When will a nurse come to my home?
Based on your needs and your type of therapy, you and your nurse will decide on a visit plan. A visit schedule will be set up to regularly assess your response to therapy and to provide and necessary cares.

How will I receive my medications and supplies?
Our pharmacy and nursing staff will determine your supply needs and we will deliver the supplies along with the medications necessary for you infusion therapy. You will be informed if any supplies are not covered by your insurance and you will have the option to purchase these supplies elsewhere.
